Clinical Course sections are designed for clinical practices (usually in the medical and health discipliness). This may also inculde sections where students run tests, titrate solutions, and other (often medical) laboratory activities.
Discussion Course sections are designed to complement lectures with student discussions with instructors, graduate assistants, teaching assistants, instruction librarians or other facilitatrors.
Dissertation A course section used to enable a student to work on their dissertation (such as for a PhD).
